When the Eternyll originally fractured the world with violence, one sect of elves was the most outspoken against their irrevocably flawed society, and quickly moved off to settle in new lands. Seeking to redeem their race, they devoted themselves to once again becoming attuned with the natural world, and would eventually become known as the Floryll. Sometimes referred to as Wood Elves, they aim to change the world as little as possible, instead forming their homes by using plant magic to grow their groves without disrupting the balance of nature. Floryll come in shades of green and yellow, from dull and mossy, to bright and vibrant, and all the verdant shades between. Many will have magical plantlife growing from their hair or bodies, either for ornamentation, or as natural camouflage that helps them disappear into their surroundings. They can be found in forests, flowering meadows, and even swamps. As most cultures are expressly peaceful, most Floryll would rather disappear than fight, though as the world becomes ever more tumultuous there are those who have begun to see themselves as the defacto protectors of their lands. Some even take up this mantle viciously, not allowing outsiders to set one foot into their forests.
