The Fairyll, sometimes referred to simply as Fairies, are a winged race of elves that have been touched by a Font of Air. They can sparkle in the sun, and glimmer in the shade. Their appearance is fantastical in all senses of the word, from their lovely pink skin tones, to their large dark eyes, to their four-fingered hands. Their physical diversity also leads many to have almost insectoid features, such as antennae, body markings, odd-shaped ears, and of course, their wings. Half-Fairyll can look as alien as full Fairyll, though with the skin tone of their other lineage. Others are born with very few Fairyll traits, though still always with wings. A very self-protective race, they often hide their communities deep within areas of the landscape that are difficult to access without flying. This makes travelling to their cities very rare, as they almost never permit outsiders, though their natural knack for sparking joy in others has led some to venture off and engrain themselves in communities across the world.
