Like the other races, Dwarves are descended from Humans who had a strong interaction with a Font of Power - in this case, a Font of Earth.
Dwarves are well-known artisans in the world of Evernyll. With an affinity for working stone and metal, their cities are truly awesome and full of inspiration. Once a unified kingdom, the Dwarves were fractured into three warring clans following the destruction of their sacred Font of Earth.
(NAME TBD) focused on technology, and are gifted metalworkers and smiths. The golems they forge are inelegant, but functional machinery who can perform automated tasks.
The (NAME TBD) are a more naturalistic aspect of Dwarves, who use their magic and runes to shape stonework and sing life into their earth-forged Golems.
Lastly, the (NAME TBD) have turned to darker forms of magic, using secretive rituals to create golems who are eerily lifelike despite their inorganic bodies.
Dwarves typically get along well with others, fitting into communities and cities across Evernyll while still feeling immense pride in their heritage. To Dwarves of the other clans, however, they can be prejudiced and spiteful.
