All types of dogs which we know as “domesticated breeds” as well as all wolves are represented by Omnimal Canines.
Omnimal Dogs have made themselves abundantly present in almost every known society, likely able to integrate so easily thanks in large part to the special Houndswell Training Academies which most of them are expected to attend early in life. With an emphasis on learning the values of loyalty, duty, and honor, those who complete their schooling often go on to become devoted members of their communities, and exceptionally capable right hands to their chosen leaders. Omnimal Dogs are known to have a unique commitment to accomplishing tasks they believe in. Similar to how a human experiences an adrenaline rush, a Dog Omnimal is capable of pushing their body to some extremes, but only when their heart and mind is also committed to the action. This might look like running for hours straight to deliver a life-saving medicine, or serving as a vigilant guard for more than a day before collapsing. These are extreme feats of endurance, never beyond what one is physically capable of, but pushing the boundaries of their limitations only in those intense scenarios. By contrast, a Dog Omnimal who cares very little for what they are doing may struggle to stay focused at all.
Omnimal Wolves are known for their prodigious appetites, with a common philosophy being “Why only have some, when you can have more?” This refers to drinking, eating, partying, fighting, or just about anything else. The Stjarnvarg Raiders are the most infamous of the Wolves. This nomadic clan is highly spiritual, seeking guidance from the stars, their ancestors, and guardian spirits. They are very social and love festivities, but are the bane of many other Clans and tribes, given that they only keep what they can pillage from others. Outside of this clan, integrating into cities, many become the beating heart of their social groups, equally happy to relax for a cozy evening or terrorize the city with their revelry.
